Real name: José do Nascimento Cardoso

Born on December 25, 1956 in Visconde do Rio Preto, Minas Gerais - Brazil, José do Nascimento Cardoso became famous in 80's, using the stage name Aladim. He was the main voice of the duo Alan e Aladim. José do Nascimento Cardoso also composed some songs for the duo.

In October 1, 1992, Aladim died after a dental surgery, but the real cause is unknown. There's two versions: infection after surgery and cardiac arrest under anaesthesia.
