Purfoze was a Belgian group of "cosmic music" around synthesists Mark De Wit and Ruud Rondou, specialised in bridging the gap between Berlin-School electronics and ambient. Third band-member was Mark Creemers as band technician and engineer. The group played various concerts at festivals in the 1980's, including at Brussels planetarium. They self-released 2 well-received projects on tape between 1982 and 1989, which are re-released by the Rhea Music label as of 2013 on CDr.
