Real name: Emil Sehested

The name is Mixthoven and the sound is far from the usual. Having started producing in an age of 12 years Mixthoven has had quite a bit experience in creating electronic music.

Starting out being fascinated by instrumentals, he had his own journey through the genres creating his own unique niches along the way until he finally met what he was destined to create: Techno music.

The music is describing the blue hour just before sundown, the quite cold but exciting moment leadinginto the unknown. Mixthoven is set in the world to create emotionally awaikening dance music, and try to contribute with electronic music in its own form trying to represent some kind of reality.

Using a combination of analog and digital equipment Mixthoven is producing his music straight from the studio in Denmark. However, with the invention of the portable recorder mixthoven is also trying to capture unique moments to create a totally special vibe beyond what you might have heard anytime earlier
