Lobo y Melón was a Mexican son and salsa group formed in 1958. Founded by the percussionist Carlos Daniel "Lobo" Navarro and the singer Angel Luis Silva Nava. Members included Mauro Enrique Chávez (piano), Manuel "Perrote" Osorio (trumpet), Andrés "Mucha Trampa" López (bass) and Mario "Cholito" González (timbal), Ángel "El Cucarachito" Martínez, Crescencio "El Pajarito" Guzmán, and Luis Ortega.
