MC born in 1968. He acquired his nickname whilst growing up in Fulham, London. He was so thin that everyone started calling him Ribbz. After moving to Plymouth to study Electronic Engineering, he formed the DJ duo S.A.S. with Simon Debruin and in late 1989 began promoting the Zena's House parties at the club of the same name in Plymouth.

After playing at Universe's first event (Out Of This World on 30/08/1991) he became one of their resident MCs. At the start of 1992 he moved to Bristol, where he shared a flat with Easygroove..

He also worked for Prime Distribution. and in Exeter's Mighty Force record shop.
