Born on the 14th of june, 1972 in Bonn ( NRW / Germany )and growing up to the sound of the 80ies, he was first exposed to Hip Hop and Funk in 1987. By 1994 he started working at Groove Attack records in Cologne, from there he moved to Dusseldorf in 1997 to manage the Geo Record shop. By 1998, he opens his own record shop, "Flipside". By 2005, Herbert founds his own record label, "Jaktronik Rekords". By this time Herbert releases his first single "Times up" wich becomes one of the most successful underground elektro house records.
