David Earle Johnson

American percussionist (congas, timbales), composer and record producer. He was married with artist-painter Evelyne Morisot with whom he had four children.Born on April 10, 1938, the son of Earle H. Johnson and Lottie Ruth Troutman Johnson in Florence, SC. He died from cancer in 1998.
