Hank was a power-pop group (they talked about their music as turbo-pop) that was formed in Cantabria in 1994 when Hendrik Roever of Los Deltonos thought about playing pop guitars sharp with lyrics in Spanish.

To launch the new project and differentiate it from The DelTonos, Hendrik invented an alter ego that he called Hank Roever, who was supposedly his brother and always wore dark glasses

Hank had as founding members:

- Hank Roever : voice and guitar, alter ego of Hendrik Roever of Los DelTonos.
- Bernie Bustillo : bass.
- Iñaki García : drums, from Los DelTonos.
