She was a Brazilian singer, composer and instrumentalist of nativist music from Rio Grande do Sul. Her biggest hit is the song 'É Disto Que o Velho Gosto', from the album 'Romance de Terra e Pampa', from 1980, composed by Berenice Azambuja together with Gildo Campos. Throughout her career she won 3 gold records. With recordings including CDs and vinyls, there are 17 discs and one DVD. Berenice was born in Porto Alegre, on March 21, 1952, and passed away in Passo Fundo, on June 3, 2021.
