Albino Manique
Real name: Albino Batista Manique
Albino Manique was a Brazilian composer and accordionist, considered one of the best accordionists. Albino, from an early age, always had music with him. He had a neighbor and friend called Francisco Castilhos, and together they started playing. Francisco was given a cavaquinho, and as Albino played the tambourine, they formed a duo to liven up the country parties. As time went by, Chico received a guitar, and Albino an 80-bass harmonica from his father, and since then he fell in love with this instrument that still accompanies him to this day. He was born on 12 March 1944 and died on 25 April 2024 at the age of 80.
