Death metal band from Costa Rica. Originally formed in 2002 as Katharzys, the band released a demo and an album, "The Beginning of Desolation", before relaunching under their new name, Catarsis Incarne. The band released their first album in their current guise, "Katharma" (2011), under the independent label Plectro Records. Their second album, "Presbere" (2013), is a posthumous tribute to the leader and defender of indigenous resistance in Costa Rica, with the arrival of the conquerors.
