She was married to drummer Buddy Combine in 1947.
She sang with the orchestras of Red Nichols, Bob Crosby, and Jimmy Dorsey in the 1940s before recording for Capitol Records in the 1950s.
She charted with Jan Garber and His Orchestra in 1950 with "I Wanna Be Loved". The song hit #23 on the U.S. charts.
