Composer, singer, guitarist and writer born in Lleida (Catalonia, Spain) in 1954. Xavier Baró was involved during the 1970s in early rock bands like Camps de Cotó and Tagomago, but later he founded the cult band PRIMAVERA NEGRA releasing a few works in the 1980s with a punch of good songs that never really succeded. Baró formed also Los Tormentos with only one album edited. In 1990's he decided to leave his rock&roll influences and the composition in spanish language to achieve a solo career singing folk style with his own poetry in catalan, releasing quite amount of albums successfully.
