American orchestral composer, arranger, conductor & pianist.
Born September 5, 1904 in Waltham, Massachusetts, USA.
Died February 16, 1962 (aged 57) in Kansas City, Missouri, USA.
Married to songwriter Helen E. Myers til his death.
He wrote many works for full symphony orchestra and was chief arranger for "The Bell Telephone Hour" on radio 22 years. He, along with Donald Voorhees were the musical directors and conductors for the radio and television show, "Cavalcade of America".
