Studies at Chapman University's Conservatory of Music led her to the class of Dubspot beat guru Steve Nalepa, where she was introduced to electronic music composition and an internship at Alpha Pup Records. Dot quickly discovered Low End Theory and the thriving Los Angeles beat community, which began to profoundly impact her production aesthetic.
