Biography

Death Oath
Real name: Death Oath
Effective period / Period of releases: 1996
In the early 1990s, Death Oath emerged onto the metal scene with a unique blend of satanic death/thrash infused with traditional heavy metal influences. Their electrifying performances quickly garnered them a devoted following, leading to sold-out shows and extensive coverage in both mainstream and underground publications. However, their controversial lyrical content and unabashedly satanic image drew the ire of authorities, ultimately resulting in arrests, brutal interrogations by law enforcement, and the systematic destruction and banning of all their recorded material.
Despite the adversities they faced, Death Oath's legacy endures. Their seminal album, "Pernicious Conjure," originally released three decades ago, has now been resurrected and made available on CD for the first time in 30 years, allowing fans old and new to experience the dark, visceral energy of one of metal's most infamous cult classics.
