Real name: Parikrama
The classic hard rock band, Parikrama was formed in New Delhi in 1991 by the brothers, Subir Malik (Organ, Keyboards) and Nitin Malik (Lead Vocals). Over the years, Parikrama released numerous singles and toured extensively in India, Asia & the UK including opening for legendary British hard rock/heavy metal acts, Deep Purple, Iron Maiden & Nazareth and playing at the prestigious Download Festival in the UK as the first Indian band. The music of Parikrama is classic 1970s hard rock fused with elements of Indian music through the use of violin, flute, sitar and tabla, thereby creating a very unique sound.Present line-up:
