Austrian Comedian (1887-1925).A member of the Viennese cabaret "Budapester Orpheumgesellschaft" known for its comic scenes in Austrian Jewish dialect, Bauer tended to play the "Aryan" opponent of the Jewish comedian Heinrich Eisenbach.
