Bruce Harris joined Elektra in December 1969 as director of press relations. He then worked as director of product management for Epic and Columbia custom labels before joining RCA as A&R director. He joined EMI in the '90s where he held director of marketing and catalogue development positions and Phoenix Media Group in 1999.
Bruce Harris was an early supporter of post-punk and new wave during his tenure at Epic.
