Simmaniduo is an Estonian folk music group (founded in 1983). Its creation combines the sound of Estonian folk music instrument zither (est kannel) with contemporary sound. Simmaniduo gives performances at both public events as well as weddings and birthday parties. During the 28 years Simmaniduo has played their own creation and also more general folk music. Musicians Toivo Vaagen, Kalev Mäekalle, Ants Loos and Märt Toom have all played in Simmaniduo at various times together with its founder and kannel-player (zitherist) Sander Karu.
