Canadian bluegrass/country multi-instrumentalist. Also worked in A&R for Rodeo Records (2) in the Maritime provinces.
Began his musical career travelling in country bands in 1949. Did a few guest spots on CBC TV series Don Messer's Jubilee and be came a regular there 1963-1969. Played Banjo and 12 string guitar for Singalong Jubilee 1966-1968. Was band leader and musical director for CBC TV show Country Time and hosted CBC Radio show Country Road. Retired to Port Maitland, NS in 1997 continuing to teach music and occasionally perform.
