Became a drama actor in 1963 with "la troupe du Théâtre du Rideau Vert". As a pop singer, he released his first 45RPM in 1964.
His biggest hit might have been "Aline". In 1966 was named "best new male artist" / "prix de Révélation masculine de l'année" and song of the year at 'Gala des artistes'.
In 1998 he became the general manager of the "Société pour l'avancement de la chanson d'expression française".
