Real name: Henry Russell Olson

American singer, musician, arranger, musical director, advertising entrepreneur.
Born September 4, 1913 · Michigan, USA.
Died April 14, 1968 · Sherman Oaks, California, USA.
Built and owned HR Recording Studios which was bought by Motown when they came to Hollywood, serving as the early home for Motown West.
He worked for Ad-Staff, Inc. composing the music for jingles while the lyrics were written by Martin Sperzel and Don Quinn for companies such as Granny Goose Potato Chips, Reddi-Wip, Sanka, Speedway, Stokely's and Van Camp's Frozen Casseroles.
