From Cleveland, Ohio Ron Thatch is a guitarist and singer who is still active. He was lead singer of the original Dazz band, performed with several bands including Pure Funk and California. He recorded in the 1970's and 80's including projects produced by George Semper and Nathaniel "Basey" Johnson on the Jimmy Smith imprint MoJo Records out of San Diego, California.
