Multi-instrumentalist, composer and producer.
In activity since the end of the 1970s, his background is firmly rooted in the rock-psychedelic and experimental scene of the era.
After studying at the conservatory "A.Vivaldi" in Alessandria, Italy, he worked in France with various bands during the 1980s.

In 1980 releases his first record, the 7" Magico for the label Phantom Record.
In 1989 the VV. AA. album "Atmosphere underground".
From 1985 to 1996 he manages a recording and video production studio in the Venice province, called "Noi Studio".

In 1995 begins his collaboration with Guido Frezzato, who composed the soundtrack for the film "Scano Boa - Dannazione" by Giancarlo Marinelli, which Pavan recorded and produced in his studio.

In the following two years, the collaboration with Guido will lead to the production of two albums for the African Brothers: "N'der Tangana" and "Wooden", as well as the soundtrack of "Alla ricerca dell'Uno" with the musicians of the Compagnia dei Popoli, for the dance-theatre show of the Belgian dancer Thierry Parmentier. His song 'Didjeridu' will also be used as a soundtrack for Rodolfo Bisatti's film "Case" (Ipotesi cinema).

In the following years he fully devoted to photography and art. Attended courses with Pino Settani and other masters of imagery, and became friends with artists and painters, such as Guy Harloff, who represented inspiring landmarks for his artistic training. Since 1998 he has a company that deals with photography, printing, fine art and the creation of artistic products.

In 2015 the label Disco Segreta, rediscovers Magico (7" in the meantime become extremely rare) and in 2016 represses it, adding a previously unreleased track, Electrik Flower.

In 2017 the label Adesso (2) released Absolute, a contemporary concept album entirely composed and played by Pavan: 8 tracks in which he explores the multiple dimensions of the concept of "absolute", experimenting with guitars, synthesizers, electric sitars and percussion, in a journey through the territories of electronic synthesis. The album is undoubtedly a tribute to the German and Italian experimental electronic scenes of the late 70s / early 80s.
