"This group is not connected with the groups of the same name which recorded on Checker and Jewel after 1943." (Blues and gospel records 1890-1943 (1997), p. 1046).

Cedric Hayes & Bob Laughton's "Gospel discography 1943-1970" (2007), however, list the Checker and Jewel group as being one and the same - see Willing Four (2).
