Recording Engineer, piano player and songwriter; was Chief Engineer at King Studios in Cincinnati, Ohio and, for a short time, a King Records recording artist. Prior to joining King, Smith played as a solo pianist and with many bands in and around the New York City area, and was also an arranger. After leaving King, Smith returned to New York City to work at Bell Sound Studios and Mayfair Recording Studios.
