Singing on Melbourne radio aged 2 1/2 and singing professionally aged 8. Recorded with George Trevare's Orchestra in 1946 aged 10. Went to UK in 1950 and sang with Teddy Foster Band 1951-1954. Back in Australia by 1958 and active as a Sydney nightclub singer. Best known for "The Annette Klooger Show" which aired from 1959 to 1961. She was married to television presenter Ray Taylor, who died in 2011, survived by Annette.
