German-born pianist, born 6 December 1930 in Berlin, Germany. Daughter of German conductor Eugen Jochum. She is Faculty emerita at the New England Conservatory.
Married to Wilhelm Viggo (Willo) von Moltke, b. 1911 Kreisau, Germany (now Krzyżowa, Świdnica, Poland), d. 1987 Boston, Massachusetts. He was a professor at the Graduate School of Design at Harvard University from 1964 to 77. Her brother-in-law, Helmuth Graf von Moltke, was executed by the Nazis in January 1945.
