Real name: Chauncey Crumpacker

Producer and executive for RCA Victor. he started his career in 1953 for the label's A&R department and was responsible for bringing in Elvis Presley. His last years with the label were spent cataloguing and researching in the archives, during which time he wrote many liner notes. He was also active as a composer, completing one opera. He was born in Evanston, Illinois (USA) and died on 12 March 2019, at age 91.
