Numbers And Letters is the band project of songwriter Katie Hasty. The group was founded in Brooklyn, moved to Austin, and now is reforming in Los Angeles.

The alt-country/folk-pop/Americana/multi-hyphenate group released its debut album "Guns Under Water" in April 2013. Hasty releases a Christmas song every year and also dropped a self-titled EP in 2008.

Hasty is the day-to-day editor and music channel manager for HitFix.com, spent years as columnist and reporter at Billboard and has been a working music critic and reporter for mor than 10 years. Her dark folk-pop/Americana wails and melodies are made inside of churches and religious choirs, pool halls, bars, campgrounds and other quiet, flat places.
