Spanish singer-songwriter from Durango (Basque country), born 1948. Alias of Xabier Castillo / Javier Castillo.
Member of pop group Amets. Also ascribed to the "Euskal Kantagintza Berria" movement (=Nueva Canción Vasca, =New Basque Song movement).
In 1976 he formed a duet with Gontzal Mendibil, with whom he recorded the album "Zaurietatik" dario. Author of songs like Entzun Maite, Bakarrik or zaude, Sugandik apart or Kailean zehar.
