Fetish were a South African, Cape Town-based pop/gothic rock band centered around the vocalist Michelle Breeze.

Formed in May 1996, they released an eponymous and self-financed debut album the following year, the initial 1000 copies of which were packaged in a different tie-dyed, gold-embossed material fabric covering and having a number on the box which only shows up under ultraviolet light.

Based on the success of their debut, they became the first domestic signing for Virgin Records (EMI) in South Africa in 1998. Their 1999 EP, "Shade Of A Ghost", garnered good press reviews whilst the album "So Many Prophets" of the same year established the band as darlings of the European underground.

They subsequently moved to the UK and performed in London - but split up in 2002.

In 2006, "Remains", a collection of 16 tracks recorded between 1999-2001 was released.

Line-up:
Michelle Breeze: vocals
Dominic Forrest: guitar
David Fiene: keyboards
Jeremy Daniel: bass
Croc e. Moses: drums
