Short Circuit were one of, if not THE first and only post-punk Luxembourg band ever had. Formed in 1992 by Alex Z(vocals, guitar) and Georges M (bass, synth), the band was doomed from the beginning, wrong place, wrong time and foremost wrong audience. Doomed since technically the band did exist less than a year, and the disappearance without a trace of Georges from one day to another left Alex with no choice to continue alone, and so afterwards created Elyzium for the Sleepless Souls.

The band quickly achieved a cult status in the local underground scene due their unique raw sound and intensively chaotic shows.
