Elmer Feldkamp

Born into a musical family in New Jersey on April 8, 1902, to German parents.
Died on September 27, 1938 from Heart Failure.
Elmer Feldkamp was a crooner who was quite prolific in the recording studios singing with a variety of bands on different labels. Among others, he sang with the Freddy Martin Orchestra, the Fred Rich Orchestra, the Golden Gate Orchestra, and the Bert Lown and the Hotel Biltmore Orchestra. Feldkamp was also an accomplished saxophone player. In 1933 his own orchestra recorded the song "You're Getting to Be a Habit with Me" on the Crown label. His last recordings were made in the summer of 1938 with Freddy Martin.
