Ölvis is Örlygur Thor Örlygsson, a native islandic, who enjoys making music since 2004, when his self-titled debut "Ölvis" was released.
Ölvis, compared to his fellow songwriter Stafrænn Hákon, likes to experiment: He mixes chilly electropop with hallucinating sound-patterns, not without a dash of islandic pathos - his mellow, warm voice emphasizes the main character of his rather unique sound.
