Ulisses Labaronnie is an experimental/ambient musician from Buenos Aires, Argentina. For more than 25 years he's actively dedicated to the integration of sound and image, creating and producing music, video and photography. Specialized in the climatic and spatial sound, produced with both synthesizers and guitars and also with an interest in the music of various cultures, he has developed a personal and identifiable style of very varied influences, which has been reflected in numerous albums, DVDs, music for cinema, TV, documentaries, video games and planetariums.

His current project, SOPHOS, is the main focus of his compositions in electronic space music, but he also publishes works by Ambient Music under his own name. He directs the Ambient Music Lab where the interaction and collective composition of Ambient Music is promoted, guided by the Intensive Workshops that the author organizes monthly.

Ulisses Labaronnie has collaborated with international artists such as Arne Hiorth and Øystein Jørgensen (Norway), Klaas Von Karlos (USA-Germany) and Sebastian Heynig (Chile). He has also made music for renowned plastic artists Daniel López, Silvia Goytía, Daniel Vidal, Alejandro Parisi, Luis Altieri, Daniel Prieto and Alan Fioravante.

In 2012 he presented his works in Paris, France at the Cité Internationale des Arts and at the French Cycle of contemporary performances Dimanche Rouge. In 1999 he created Ensamble Circular while he lived in Patagonia, an audiovisual experimentation group where numerous artists participated. They made DVDs, CDs and presentations all over the country.

He is currently part of triØN, together with Ernesto Romeo and Sami Abadi, and he belongs to the Sami Abadi Orchestra. He is part of the duo Absolute Zero with Sebastian Heynig, and the Eridanus Quartet with Pablo Bilbao, Esteban Menash and Lucas Tripaldi. Also, he's a member of Absolute Zero, Divan Rouge and Eridanus.

He currently edits on various Netlabels: Cyclical Dreams, Live Acts, Petroglyph Music.
