Frank Jones

Real name: Frank Buck Jones

Effective period / Period of releases: 1973 - 1976

Canadian-born American Country performer, A&R executive and producer.
He worked for Sparton before being hired at Columbia Records Canada,
first as sales manager and later as A&R director.
In 1961 he moved to Nashville to join Columbia's production staff,
where he worked under the supervision Don Law.
After leaving Columbia in 1973, Jones headed to Capitol Records' Country division.
He had a similar role also at Warner Bros. Records Nashville (1980-1983)
and Polydor Nashville (1983-1985).
Jones was chairman of The Board for the Country Music Foundation for 12 years

Died: February 3, 2005 in Nashville, Tennessee
