American tenor singer and popular radio & television personality.
Born Jersey City, New Jersey, USA.
He frequently did projects with Al Goodman, including Gilbert & Sullivan operettas.

Different than: Jimmy Carroll, the composer, songwriter, arranger and conductor.

Carroll's father was a singing teacher. Jimmy had his own armed forces radio show called "Jimmy Carroll Sings". In the 1940's he appeared on Milton Berle's radio show Here's to Romance, a weekly musical variety show and on Pot o' Gold, radio's first big-money giveaway program. Most likely related to Maxine Carroll.
