Founded in 1980 by Eli Prates, the Prisma Group is recognized by audiences and critics as a true phenomenon within national gospel music, anticipating trends and renewing itself in search of quality and timeliness. Currently managed by his son, Rafael Prates, Prisma has released 58 CDs, 6 DVDs, 1 BluRay and 1 book, reaching the mark of more than 5.6 million physical albums sold and more than 65 million views on YouTube. His awards include 9 Diamond records. He has performed all over Brazil and has also toured in Uruguay, Paraguay, Argentina, Canada and the United States; he has sung several times to huge audiences, such as: 200,000 people at the Barueri-SP stadium; 100,000 people at the Maracanã-RJ stadium; 50,000 people in Indianapolis-USA Several albums recorded and mixed in state-of-the-art North American studios. He performed for Presidents of the Brazilian Republic at the Itamaraty Palace. With a totally missionary objective, despite its professional stance, the ministry since its foundation has been made up mostly of university students, teachers and UNASP collaborators, with Prisma being an official UNASP group, so that as people graduate and return to their different destinations in Brazil and around the world, there are renewals, which is why the group always remains young.
