Swedish pop group Venus was a girl band active between 1988 and 1989. The group consisted of Pernilla Gillback, Katja Kisch and Malin Evén. Noice member Peo Thyrén was responsible for parts of the music together with Alexander Bard, Rex Gisslén and Max Brunzell (who was also the tour manager for Katja and Pernilla Gillback during many of our tours).

Venus was founded in 1988 by the company Empire. A company that also booked acts such as Glen Spove, boomfighting and mud wrestling. Behind the company was Jimmy Andersson. It was also at Empire that Peter Settman started his career.

Their first single Bang Bang was released on Eagle records. Tommy Nilsson, Lenita and Karina Rydberg can be heard in the choir. The B-side was called Love has gone.
