French minimalist electronic avant-garde composer, Patrick Dorobisz-Kondrackas was born on the 25th of May 1955 in France. He lives with pianist Veronique Vanhoucke in Lille. (France)

He studied music, drawing and painting from an early age. While studying at the Academy of Fine Arts, after having studied and obtained a diploma in architecture, he started his first repetitive electro-acoustic music compositions and produced sound installations.In 1976 he successfully obtained his National Diploma in Fine Arts.
