Christopher Timothy is a Welsh actor and the son of British BBC radio announcer, Andrew Timothy. He is best known for playing James Herriot in the long-running BBC series All Creatures Great and Small. He also played series regulars Ted Murray in the soap opera EastEnders and Dr. Brendan "Mac" McGuire in the serial drama Doctors.
