Minimal Technology

Members: Pablo Castro (3), Minimo (3)

Minimal Technology started in the early 90's in Santiago, Chile when three students ventured into designing sound pieces. After several months of studio recording, a Japanese curator and music publisher Kino Mitsouko took interest in the group. The band took a trip to Tokyo which was later viewed as an artistic experience for the group; MT made a special container-object, similar to mail art, in order to show its work.

The band had only two appearances on stage, one in the room Augustine Siré School of Arts University of Chile and one in the Faculty of Architecture in the same University. They were also interviewed on a live program at the disappeared Radio Umbral, and invited to publish an article of their work in the fanzine Marginal Music.
