The vocal group Serenada was established in the year 1974 by Henri Moen and consists of young people who in their spare time practice and perform mostly Antillian music. Serenada's goal is to promote and conserve Antillian music. In connection with his study at the conservatorium in Puerto Rico, Henri Moen has designated Danillo Plantijn to take over the choir in August 1979.
