If Dimitris Biniaris and Theod Kopoul hadn’t formed Sad Disco, they would probably hate each other: the dynamic between a wallflower and a crowd pleaser can often be delicate. Through their musical collaboration, though, they have managed to co-exist smoothly, or, at least, safely, sharing a flat while composing and even a bed when the times were hard on the road. They describe their music as “introvert lyrics with extrovert melodies, like the sound echoing in your head while you are walking away from a club”. Why electronic pop? Because it is the music of their childhood and it feels like starting over...
After a single for their song “Heart” released in November of 2013 they release their debut LP in June 2014.
