The Holidays from Springfield, Illinois: Billy Wicks, Frank Laurie, Kevin Cox, Greg Gerendas, Ed Gehlbach and Dan Lanier.
The group released three singles on Dixie Records between 1964 and 1966. This single on Thunder Records was recorded at Golden Voice Recording Company in S. Pekin, Illinois and released in 1968. A few members had changed over the years as is the case with many groups
The lead singer, Billy Wicks, went on to sing with Freddie Tieken's American Music Band. Tragically, Wicks was killed in a motorcycle accident in 1973.
