The Mother Tongue
Band of notable musicians gathered around the figure of GeGè Telesforo to celebrates Italy's proximity on the Mediterranean Sea to the countries of North Africa. The sounds and rhythms represent and reach from the original African mother to the modern marketplace, and from Zebra skin drums to Cannonball Adderley's compositions.
