Martin Kay is a sound artist and composer whose current interests lie in producing environmental sound recordings that are charged with a degree of emotional resonance and psychological alterity. Through employing a technologically limited (recording focused) approach, Kay is driven to experiment in situ with a range of recording techniques that produce strange, transmogrified and uncanny perspectives of a range of everyday urban environments and situations.
