Blues drummer, born in Chicago and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Wilson began playing drums at age 12, touring locally with a gospel group and joining the Brian Lee Band. In 1978, he moved to Lincoln, Nebraska, where he joined Zoo Bar house band Heart Murmurs. This led to playing with Sam Meyers and Anson Funderburgh and a move to Texas. In Texas, he played with Anson And The Rockets, Mike Morgan And The Crawl and Marcia Ball. He also played on recordings for Black Top Records. Wilson eventually moved back to the Chicago/Milwaukee area, where he plays with the Matthew Skoller Band and Alex Wilson Band.
